I heard Mark Madden was doing a remote from Illinois today.

That Selig article reads like a poetic love letter. I've been to Bethany; it's no utopian shire.

Word of advice:

Watch the 10 Toys That Made You Gay video. The last one was the funniest thing I've seen in at least a week.

I can't believe that write from SI.com actually took the time to rank 100 moments in the last 25 yrs of Philly sports according to their level of heartache.

Philly fans have now reached such a point of desperation that, in order to be the best at SOMETHING, they cling ever tighter to their misery.

Look, the only team that was ever cursed (not that I actually believe this shit) was the Red Sox. Philly just sucks. Why does there need to be an explanation?

Also, to put so much thought into a piece assumes that people on the national scene actually care about Philadelphia.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Philly is the redheaded stepchild of the East Coast.

Think of it. Delta and US Airways operate shuttle flights every hour that go from DC to NYC to Boston and back again all day long.

Of course, they skip Philly.

Why?

B/c it's unimportant. Have a cheesesteak and a soft pretzel and have a nice day.

(Sorry so long. I really hate Philly.)
