Lots of Steeler injury stuff in the news today. It looks like Willie Parker will not play due to a shoulder injury (insert your "Parker is fragile" jokes here), and from the pessimistic sound of Mike Prisuta on WDVE this morning, it looks like Mr. Roethlisberger will be joining him on the sidelines, despite reports to the contrary. So some Steeler fans might get their wish: a whole game full of Byron Leftwich, who's 2-4 in his previous lifetime as a Jaguars QB against the Colts.
Joining Ben and Willie on the injury list: three others who didn't partipate in practice: Hines Ward, Lamarr Woodley, and Najeh Davenport; Heath Miller, Marvel Smith, and Bryant McFadden, who've already been ruled out for Sunday; and the other wounded soldiers who did participate in practice: Casey Hampton, Troy Polamalu, Ty Carter, Gary Russell, and Deshea Townsend.
In other Steeler news, I'll be holding a candlelight vigil in the hopes that they don't add locker-room rat poison DeAngelo Hall to this year's squad.
UPDATE:
Crisis averted...looks like Hall is headed to Washington. Makes sense. And Tim Benz is reporting that Lamarr Woodley is out $10,000 for his sack of Jason Campbell on Monday night (#5 in this video compilation).

B.S. fine against Woodley. I imagine #43 will have something to say about that.
I don't know which fine was worse: Woodley's or Justin Tuck's
