Monday at the Polls

It's Monday, and there's very little going on outside of the daily Pirates loss and the Penguins' mass toilet flush. So let's turn it over to Paris for some poll questions to liven things up a bit.

1. It will take more than a couple of interviews to change people's opinion of Big Ben. It has to be earned through actions and deeds.

2. I think they'll sign one, probably Taillon. Remember when they drafted Alvarez, they got a good pitching prospect in the 2nd round and were unable to sign him. Same deal here.

3. I'm interested, but mainly just to see if there's encouraging signs from Walker, Tabata, and Lincoln, and also to check up on Cutch's progress. So far, so good (well, I guess except Lincoln who we need to see more of).

4. If the Steelers run a tighter ship this year, they'll probably extend him.

5. I see the Lakers taking both games at home, however it wouldn't surprise me if Boston won in 7 either.

6. I was busy during the game. I really don't feel like I missed out on anything by not watching, but had I been home I probably would've caught some of it.

I had a comment about the World Cup game but the sound of those vuvuzela horns have totally ruined my train of thought.

1. Look at how quickly mike vick & tiger woods were 'forgiven' once they started playing again. I'm sure the same will hold true for Ben, who unlike those other two, was never convicted or even charged.

2. They d*mn well better!! (prospect mentioned in LLimHB - Tanner Scheppers i think?)

3. It'll get even more interesting once Pedro arrives.

4. Depends on how this season goes

5. Celts baby!

6. No, who won?

1. No, because once I looked at the evidence I was already pretty sure he didn't do it. It makes me think he's a little less douchey, but I don't really care about that.

2. Yes, I think they will. The "some good pitching prospect" they drafted in the second round was Tanner Scheppers, who they didn't sign because he had a torn labrum. He's since gone on to look pretty good since being redrafted by Texas, but at the time, I wouldn't have given first-round money to a guy with a torn labrum either.

3. More interested. These kids are the only bright spot of the current team, and they've looked great since coming up. Once Alvarez is up, it'll look even better, and once some of the players in Bradenton start to trickle in I think we'll be a respectable team.

4. Totally. He's done a great job with the team so far, the players seem to like him, and the Steelers aren't a team that gives up on coaches early - especially when that coach has won a Super Bowl.

5. I know nothing about the NBA and I don't care.

6. Yes. World Cup time is the only time I care about soccer.

1. I've been on Ben's side through most of this thing and once I found out the "alleged victim" was nothing more than low tier bar skank of the kind that tends to give it up to anyone who'll buy her a beer, I was ready to give him a full pardon but now I'm ready to throw him under the bus again because even blurred out pictures couldn't disguise the fact that Ben has no taste in women at all and obviously needs some better friends who'll whack him in the head when he gets bad ideas. I mean, what the hell Ben?! 5 feet, 145lbs. of elbow fat and an ugly dress is all it takes to get him in trouble? No wonder he avoids the nicer places, he'd probably freak out at any girl approaching a 7 and marry her before he got sober.

2. Yes.

3. No.

4. Yes.

5. No.
