TODAY'S HEADLINES

The Pittsburgh Penguins and Ottawa Senators face off at 7 p.m. tonight in the Igloo in what could be the last game of the season for the Sens.

Ottawa coach Cory Clouston hasn't decided on a goalie, and just like quarterbacks in the NFL, if you have two, you don't have any. That's not the way to go into an elimination game.

Tyler Kennedy and Jordan Leopold are both listed as day-to-day for the Pens, but regardless of a few injuries, the team is trending upwards. I would be very surprised if they don't seal the deal tonight. [PittsburghPenguins.com]

Cheech Holmes wrote a letter to the fans of Pittsburgh, and on his website managed to squeeze in a 4:20 reference. Nice.

He does realize he's one more strike away from a season-long suspension, doesn't he? [Kiss Morning Freak Show]

USA Today takes a look at many of the possible destinations for Big Ben. And John Clayton just reported that Arizona made an inquiry. Why not? They have nearly every other former Steeler. [USA Today]

Calvin Dunlap, attorney for Andrea McNulty, has officially pulled the settlement offer in Roethlisberger's Tahoe lawsuit.

In September, Dunlap offered to drop the lawsuit "if Mr. Roethlisberger admitted assaulting the plaintiff, wrote a letter of apology, and made a $100,000 donation to a Reno group that aids abused women". That offer was rejected by the Roethlisberger camp. [PG]

Daniel McCutchen tries to stop the Pirate bleeding against the Brewers tonight at PNC in a game that has the honor of going up against Pens-Sens and the NFL Draft. Anyone for an over/under on attendance? [PittsburghPirates.com]

UPDATE: I lazily forgot to double-check the Pirates' start time, and it's actually 12:35. I'm sending myself to time-out. Apologies to the Pirates for implying that they won't get a full house.

Buccos/Brewers is actually a 12:35 start time, so everyone should feel free to take a half day to enjoy some terrible baseball and then go home to watch the Draft and Pens/Sens.

I am going to say 1,500 actually show up for the Bucco game tonight.

Hopefully the Pens play physical from the start and can grab an early edge on the scoreboard. We don't to give the Sens any life.

As for Holmes, he is simply amazing.

Yeah, the Pirates game is an afternoon game. But the fact that most people don't know that is pretty indicative of how much people care.
