Now that the baseball season is over, what better timing for this post? Well, better late than never, I suppose. But it's tradition by this point, so bear with me. I wanted to get this done before any more sports start in this town.
Of all the "Pittsburgh Pirates: the Movie" casting calls I've done over the years, this one has been by far the most difficult, due mostly to the ever-changing roster this season (I've literally worked on it on and off for months). Gone are some longstanding combos (Jack Wilson/Steve-O, Adam LaRoche/Hans Klopek), but I've mixed in some new with some old, and this is the result. I'm still holding out that one of these days, this film will actually get made.

Amazing...Cedeno and Doumit were great
ok, I'll kick off this comment with my obligatory "who cares?" because this is after all a post about the bucs. And it's a post about the bucs a day before we raise a banner in a certain arena over a giant sheet of ice, and two days before the most important game of the year thus far for our favorite football team.
But now that that is out of the way. . .
I love that the McCutchen actor was wearing a Yankees cap. Fitting huh?
'Andrew McCutchen actor' aka Plaxico Burress
I personally loved Ron Howard as Neil Huntington, i have been calling him Opie since he came here
craig t. nelson gave an oscar worthy performance in the skulls.
that guy is a cinematic icon.
You forgot this one:
Your typical average Pirate fan = http://worldwide-web.com/JeffreyBabad/Simpsons/Cletus/cletus.gif
I'd take the movie roster over the real team in an actual game.
