Those are the words of none other than Laurence "Mr. T." Tureaud, who threw out the first pitch and sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at yesterday's Pirates-Cubs contest. At the conclusion of his seventh-inning serenade, he proclaimed to the denizens of the Windy City that he "pities the Pirates".Hey T, I love ya, but we're not the ones who've lost eight in a row. I guess we know what a payroll of $135 million and the great Lou Piniella buys you: a 21-22 record and a one-game lead over the Pirates near the end of May.
