WE HAVE A WINNER

Rather than re-hash the ongoing freefall of our favorite hockey team, I decided to start the morning with the announcement of the Cope/Hope Photoshop Contest Winner. 1,232 votes were cast, and the landslide winner was Chris Flecker of Brooklyn, New York, who captured 72.2% of the vote. His Bill Belichick-themed submission made the internet rounds and to no surprise, became quite popular with Jets fans. So congrats to Chris for the fantastic work. I'm sure he'll wear the prize of a Myron-themed shirt with pride.

And if you'd rather talk about the aforementioned Pens, who blew a three-goal lead in Nashville last night, look no further than Dave Molinari's article in today's PG, which sums up the team in a neat little package:

Some people believe the Penguins look like a team trying to get its coach fired.

Not so.

Not always, anyway.

There are times -- like in their 5-3 loss to Nashville at the Sommet Center last night -- when they look more like one trying to get the franchise disbanded.

Yeah, that's not a sentence I expected to see after watching this team in the Stanley Cup Finals a few months ago.
