SOMEONE ORDER A MITCHBERGER?

Round and round goes the wheel of replacement punters, and it's landed on Mitch Berger once again. The Steelers went back to the Berger well this afternoon, releasing Paul Ernster after his spectacular 28.5 average against the Bengals on Thursday night. Meanwhile, Josh Miller, who appeared with Mark Madden on Monday, sits by the phone waiting for one last shot. Judging by his radio performance today, if he ever makes the career transition into sports talk radio, it will be a smooth one. The guy's a natural.

A few other quick Steeler links:

--Santonio's marijuana possession hearing is postponed until February 26. Which means he can be fully focused throughout the playoffs, Super Bowl, and eventual Super Bowl parade.

--Prepare yourselves for months of Bill Cowher speculation, with Cleveland being the hottest rumor du jour.

--"In Matt Ryan, we are watching the greatest rookie quarterback ever."

Yep, it's better than a 13-0 record, trip to the AFC Championship, and QB rating of 98. Definitely.

Mr. Bradley, what you've just wrote is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent article of love on Matt Ryan were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this blog is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
