The Trib, via WPXI, is reporting that Joey Porter will sign today with the Miami Dolphins. The only other information in this extremely brief story is that the contract is five-year deal worth about $24 million, with a signing bonus of about $12 million.
The NFL Network's Adam Schefter is reporting that the deal is worth $32.5 million over five years, with $20 million in guaranteed cashola.
I have to go sit down now and stop my head from spinning.
UPDATE: Ed Bouchette reports approximately the same amount as Schefter: $32 million over five years, with $20 million as a signing bonus. Is it possible that the Trib was wrong yet again?
