Guerin had five goals and seven assists in 17 regular season games, to go with seven goals and eight assists in the playoffs. Adams, acquired on March 4 via the waiver wire, had three goals and two assists in the playoffs. He quietly excelled on the penalty kill and played solid on the fourth line, making his signing another feather in Ray Shero's cap. Plus, at only $550K per year, it's hardly what I would call a risky deal. All in all, it was a nice day of announcements for the Champs.
