Wannstedt Interviewing with Browns

How does the image of Dave Wannstedt in Cleveland Browns colors look in your head? Well, that image may become a reality if the ex-Pitt coach joins Team Holmgren as the Browns' Defensive Coordinator, a job he will interview for this week.

With former coordinator Rob "Brother of Rex" Ryan already landing in Dallas, an opening exists for the gig, and Wannstedt already has some competition in former Buffalo and Chicago head coach Dick Jauron. Jauron spent 2010 as the Senior assistant/Defensive backs coach for Andy Reid in Philadelphia after coaching Buffalo from 2006-2009.

In addition to the Browns job, Wanny has also talked with the Bills and may also chat with the Chargers about employment opportunities in 2011, so it looks like he will be quickly turning the page from his time at Pitt. I'd prefer he not do it in Cleveland only because I like the guy, but a paycheck is a paycheck. It won't be a matter of if, but when Wannstedt chooses to return to his NFL roots.

Personally, I never really liked the guy, so him going to Helltown will only reinforce that.

I think that would be in the Steelers best interest....Guy is not good at coaching football
