The NHL, diligently continuing to milk Crosby-Ovechkin for all it's worth, will have the duo make a totally random appearance on The Price is Right, to air Monday, December 20 at 11 a.m. Eastern. Former Chicago Blackhawk Jeremy Roenick will also be on hand to make an appearance as a third wheel.
The hockey players will be there to (what else?) promote the Winter Classic, unveiling showcases that include tickets to the game, a 2011 Honda CR-Z Sport Hybrid car, and lots of other corporately-placed goodies.
Seriously, does Crosby's back ever get tired from carrying this league for stuff like this?

ONE DOLLAR!
People other than senior citizens still watch that show? Typical NHL marketing...couldn't get them on something slightly more topical like a reality show, or even Jeopardy? (or as Cliff Clavin says, Jepudy)
No, they want to make sure Grandma is asking her grandkids if Sid is Bing's grandson and how if you don't brush your teeth you'll look as bad as this Ohfetchkin fella, when you see her on Christmas.
NHL > Brilliant!
Yeah. The only people who watch the price is right are 1) retired/elderly (not likely to be interested in sitting out in the freezing cold), or 2) unemployed (not likely to be able to afford tix even if they wanted them).
Way to hit those target demographics NHL!!!
Crosby vs. Ovechkin Plinko would have been amazing.
