PENGUINS 3, CANADIENS 4

Quick notes on the Pens-Habs game last night in Montreal:

-Brian Gionta scored twice for Montreal, including the decisive fourth goal at 9:47 of the third. He also assisted on another.

-Sergei Gonchar, Evgeni Malkin, and Bill Guerin scored the Penguin goals. Guerin's was a power play set up by Kris Letang.

-The momentum-swinger was Scott Gomez's shorthander at 1:40 of the third, tying the game at 2. The Penguins would not have the lead again after that.

-John Curry was in net for the Pens and made 24 saves.

-The Bell Centre was at 100% capacity, with 21,273 in attendance.

-Pens are back in action tonight at Toronto.

A few other points of interest:

-There's a Max Talbot signing at the McKnight Road Mcintyre Square K-Mart on Saturday from 1-3. That should be a colorful crowd.

-Has anyone else noticed on Eric Tangradi's Twitter page that he's eaten at the Cheesecake Factory on September 11, September 16, AND September 19? I hope he's getting comped for all those plugs he's handing out.

-The Puck Daddy interview with Geno Malkin is a must read. Tons of great stuff, and as the case always is with Geno, lots of interesting photos.
