Lesean "Shady" McCoy officially got his NFL payday, signing a four-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. Terms were not yet released, but if past history is any indication, it will be in the $2.95 million range, with a signing bonus of around $1.245 million. That isn't as big of a payday as he originally anticipated when bolting Pitt, but is much, much more than the $0 he earned last year. So congrats to him. He's in a good situation and looks to have a bright future ahead in Philly.

In other signing news, the Steelers officially inked 6'5", 328-pound guard Kraig Urbik, the first of their three third-round picks. Terms were not disclosed on that contract either. He's expected to be tossed into the mix at right guard along with vets Darnell Stapleton and Trai Essex once camp is in session. His signing leaves 1st rounder Ziggy Hood as the lone unsigned Steeler draft pick.
