Hopefully, the Steelers have inspired some competitive spirit among you, because we've got one heck of a contest lined up for this week. Pepsi, sponsor of the 2008 NFL Rookie of the Year, has generously donated an Ultimate Super Bowl Party Pack, valued at a whopping $250, to be used on Mondesi's House as a prize.
I racked my brain to try and think of a suitable contest, and since we've already done caption contests, photoshop contests, and link contests, I wanted to try something new. So here goes.
I think this prize should greatly enhance a future Steeler party that you either hold or participate in. So I believe we have to clearly determine who throws the best Steeler parties, to reward their hard efforts with some free stuff for a future event.
So here's your mission: tell us why you throw the best Steeler parties/tailgates. Provide colorful stories. Provide pictures. Provide videos. Provide recipes. Whatever it takes, we want to see it or read about it (in good taste, of course). But we're working on a short deadline. I need your submissions by Wednesday, January 21, at 6 PM EST. This is a quick-turnaround contest.
The best submissions will be available for a public vote that will conclude on Friday, January 23, at 12:00 AM EST, and the winner will be made official a little later on Friday. Please send your all contest-related emails to mondesishouse@gmail.com.
