TRENNI KUSNIEREK SAYS MILWAUKEE > PITTSBURGH

Here's some news that will break the hearts of her numerous Pittsburgh fans...former FSN Pittsburgh personality Trenni Kusnierek just wrote a piece for OnMilwaukee.com in which she ranks several aspects of Pittsburgh and Milwaukee side-by-side. The verdict will not be enjoyed by Yinzer Nation.
Kusnierek said that Milwaukee's baseball atmosphere, downtown, nightlife, and overall city life are all superior to Pittsburgh's. She did give the Steel City the edge in "overall sports scene" and shopping. Restaurants were a draw, although she did give the Primanti's shout-out, which is required by law in any reference to Pittsburgh cuisine.
How about this for a parting shot: "Pittsburgh again is much like Milwaukee in its blue collar drinking habits, but the lack of patios and more low key bars hurt the cityʼs overall score. Also lacking after dark, young and single professionals. Pittsburgh has been dead last or in the bottom five of Forbes "Best Cities for Singles" list the last five years running."
Rebuttals, anyone? Regardless of Trenni's Milwaukee roots, I have a hard time believing that as a town we're second-fiddle to the inspiration for Laverne and Shirley.

I have to agree with beautiful Ms. Kusnierek. I love Pittsburgh as any other native, but we are severely lacking in drawing people to the city. There are great bars, restaurants, and shopping - but they are all scattered over the city and suburban regions and require driving through...well, you know - traffic, construction, tunnels, and bridges. Nothing is centrally located but office space and parking garages.

There are no affordable places to live near where everything is happening, either. I'd love to live in the city - but not in a non-renovated building that was built around the same time my grandparents were conceived.

We have more charm than just about any city - but we have no draw.

Trenni is just bitter over being shown up by Erin Andrews.

If Trenni was looking for singles, I would have gladly taken her out to one of our low key bars. Seriously Trenni, just call!

I dont know what she is bitchin about when she says there are no young singles. I offered numerous times to bend her over wenever she needed it. Which obviously she does.

She's obviously going to say that Milwaukee is better. She's writing for a Milwaukee site. Apparently she never ventured over to the South Side if she's looking for bars. (or singles for that matter)

Don't take it so personally, Pittsburgh. While I wouldn't dream of living in Milwaukee, Pittsburgh just doesn't stack up well against other cities when it comes to nightlife. Pittsburghers get so worked up over things like this. Things are getting better, but after a few nights, the downtown scene gets old. Her opinion is spot on when it comes to Pittsburgh after 5. Downtown becomes a ghost town. If people started moving back into the city, it would be so much better. For disclosure purposes, I'm from Pittsburgh and I moved to New York for college. New York only gets better after 10. I wish Pittsburgh was the same way.

C'mon....are we really going to discuss Pittsburgh vs. Milwaukee?

Like anyone gives a shit.

Trenni's just bitter b/c Brett Favre abandoned the Packers.

And because Favre has routinely lost the big game over his career with the exception of the 1996-97 season. Look it up.

Listen. I dated Trenni for awhile. The sex was just okay. But it was her incessant drinking at bars on the South Side that got on my nerves. She never complained once about "a lack of patios" to me. I say, "Good riddance woman, you're Milwaukee's problem now!"

Wow, an ugly chick with decent tits and a name that casts doubt on whether or not she might have a cock, can't get the men of Pittsburgh drunk enough to fuck her. Thanks for the journalistic expertise, Trenni, now go suck on a brat.

"Milwaukee's baseball atmosphere"

I was thinking about this during the weekend series. I'm happy for the Brewers to finally compete with the Cubs and Cards, but boy have their fans and press gotten cocky. They've quickly gotten too big for their britches. Let's see what happens when they can't resign their homegrown picks. You know Sabathia is gone, that's just for starters.

In terms of the whole Milwaukee vs. Pittsburgh thing, of course Trenni is going to side with Milwaukee, she's from that area.

It is funny how yinzers bash other cities without ever leaving the city limits. When I still lived in Pittsburgh, I can remember some faux beach bar with sand and palm trees that was operating in the strip district. Had to be a low point in the city's night life.

Your just bitter because you had no game there.

Dallas should be more your speed.

Trenni is a sassy little brat who needs to be spanked sharply on her bare bottom. That always makes her kick and yelp!

How do you know that Yinzers bash other cities without ever leaving Pittsburgh, Dallas Mike?
