THE NEWS

--We'll start with this article from the Sporting News/Yahoo, entitled, "Potential dynasty talk about Penguins? Time for a reality check." Yeah, that's completely ridiculous to compare anyone to the great Gretzky's teams.

--That Marian Hossa trade worked out quite nicely for the Pens. So much for the idea that the trade would damage team chemistry. You know what builds chemistry? Eight goals and seven assists in 12 playoff games.

--Gary Roberts has pneumonia for the third time in two years.
--Our prayers have been answered: the Pirates found a way to keep Evan Meek!

--Ken Griffey Jr. filled former Pirate Josh Fogg's locker with pennies to pay off $1500 he owed him. Hilarity ensued shortly thereafter.

--What exactly is going on with Bill Simmons?

--The Patriots have yet to destroy the tape of themselves whining. I'm guessing Matt Walsh will come forward with those around 2016.

--As P Niddy pointed out in the comments section, the Pittsburgh all-sports video retrospective was probably based on this epic from ESPN:

--Tim from Latrobe says this Steeler video will bring a tear to your eye. I'll leave that up to your eyes to decide.

--A Michigan girl scout sold over 17,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.

--Kimora Lee Simmons really is a princess.

--A Point Break 2 movie? Count me in!

Tim from Latrobe was definitely right when he said that Steeler video would bring a tear to your eye. I think the few Arhn City's I had helped, but NFL Films did such a fantastic job of bringing the story of Pittsburgh to life. Thanks for posting that video.
