What, No Hall of Fame Bust?

In news that should come as a shock to no one, someone has already gone to the trouble of creating a customized Terrelle Pryor action figure. Yes, the notoriety once reserved for only the finest athletes and imagined characters has now been watered down to include high school jocks. Spiderman's got nothing on a quarterback from Jeannette, PA.

So here's the scoop: these are not mass-produced replicas of Pryor that you can find at your local Children's Palace, Hills, or Zayre's. These were part of a limited edition of two that were made by custom-painting a Vince "Yesterday's News" Young figure.

Jeannette coach Ray Reitz hopes that the creator, a North Hills man, chooses not to sell these, as it "shows the exploitation of a high school kid". That can wait at least a few more months, until Michigan, Oregon, OSU or Penn State starts selling Pryor replica jerseys in their fan shop.

Ray Reitz would be peeved if someone exploited Terelle more than he has the past year.

Just the fact that Children's Palace has a wiki page has made my entire weekend.

Hmm, I thought it was high school football, and not toys, that shows the exploitation of high school kids. But I never question the authority of coach.

Is it for sale at Woolworths?

Am I the only one that sees this kid failing, or at least not living up to the considerable hype?

Not that I'm wishing for it, but he's brought a lot of it upon himself with this whole circle-jerk about announcing his college choice.
