Background: A local boy from the shadow of St. Vincent's College, noted by his parents as having learned to read from his dad's subscription to the Sporting News, he's a local sports nut. He scours online for Pittsburgh Gladiators gear. He once tried to steal a friend's Pittsburgh Mauler media guide. He nearly ordered a Pittsburgh Spirit jersey in his foolish youth. He's gone to school on both sides of the Backyard Brawl (this leads to internal conflict, often curable via a growler from East End Brewery), and is back working and living in Pittsburgh after 2 years in grad school where greatness is learned and upholstery is burned. He'll rip on the Pirates incessantly, and throw in some Pens and Steelers stuff, but primarily focus on local college hoops and football, and probably throw some pop culture and musical references in that no one is going to get.
