This is what a real man looks like

--And these are what real morons look like.

--Kennywood is sold to a Spanish company. As emailer William points out, this is like the Rooneys selling the Steelers to a European soccer team.

--It's the Ruutu Song!

--The top WPIAL recruits are lining up to play for Wannstache. Except for Terrelle Pryor.

--A letter to the editor tries to rain on Pitt's parade.

--It's groundbreaking day on Don Barden's casino! At this rate, get ready to gamble downtown in 2018.

--Lester Munson analyzes the Michael Vick sentencing. Know what a good idea would be? To sit around and talk endlessly about if and when Vick will play again, not knowing what the next two years of incarceration will bring. Wait, that was done on Mike and Mike today.

--American Frontrunning Champion Randy Moss likens the Steelers to the Ravens.

--The Sporting News calls out Phil Simms for his horrible announcing in Sunday's Steeler-Patriot game, pointing out how Phil praised Tom Brady at the expense of Big Ben.
--Jeff "Tony Soprano" Fisher says no hit was ordered on Shawne Merriman.

You had to link the chubby douche on Around the Horn that's from Pittsburgh, but trashes our teams and players every chance he gets.

Seriously, there's a reason I stopped watching that show about 2 weeks after it went on the air, and that reason was Jay Marriotti.

And Anthony Smith is NOT pathetic, he's not some career loser backup, he's a 2nd year guy with a pretty good future ahead of him that said something stupid and went out and had a shit game (along with the rest of the secondary) and has hopefully leart his lesson. Let it fucking die!!!!

PLLLLLLLLEEASE God let us play them again in the playoffs.

I hate Jay Mariotti more than I hate Anthony Smith...and that's saying a lot on a day like this.

If you read, watch, or listen to anything he has to say, you are officially a moron. I wanted to read Moss' comments about the Steelers, b/c he wasn't too far off in light of the guarantee and the fighting, but once I saw Mariotti's name, I hit the "BACK" button on my browser.

As a Steeler fan, I expect a certain standard to be upheld by the team. Yes, players will come and go, but it is incumbent upon the players to understand that they don't play for a rag-tag bunch like the Bengals or Falcons. You can make stupid, baseless guarantees if you play for teams like that; Steeler players don't do that.

You'll find that out soon enough, young Anthony.

I liked Anthony Smith up until last week, and while I'm pissed at the guy, I'm not giving up on him just yet.

Besides, didn't Joey Porter do something to piss the other team off on a weekly basis? And we freakin LOVED him!!!

But then again, Joey was a superstar at the time, and Smith just isn't there yet.

...but I don't recall Joey being dumb enough to piss off the Patriots, although he did trash talk a Colts team that had killed us earlier in the season once.

With excellent play, a certain degree of nonsense is tolerated. Sorry, Anthony, you're nowhere close to good enough yet.

On Porter, you should watch the "America's Game - Patriots 2004" and see what Porter did to motivate the Pats that season. It's embarrassing to watch...

After the Steelers beat the Pats in OCT to end the 21-gm win streak, NFL Films caught a Porter rant in which he said of the Pats, "They are never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever on our level!"

After showing this clip, they cut to Tedy Bruschi who says, "What is he talking about? We just beat them to go to the Super Bowl a few years earlier, and now he says this??"

In hindsight, the Steelers, and Porter, looked tremendously foolish.

Kinda like they did last wknd.

You actually watched Around the Horn for 2 weeks?

Is it really noteworthy that a major publication calls out Phil Simms?

That would be like me posting a link saying that Golf Magazine says Tiger Woods is the best golfer in the world.
