Prepare For Your DJ Gallo Invasion

The big day is almost here. Yes, after months of wild internet speculation and message board rumor mongering, DJ Gallo's long-awaited book signing will finally go down as promised at the South Hills Village Barnes and Noble store (you know, the one that's approximately the size of a Wal-Mart Super Center).

The creator of Sportspickle.com and ESPN.com mastermind will be in town to sign copies of his new book, The View From the Upper Deck, at 2 PM. Unlike Hines Ward, DJ will not be charging $175 per signature, although his autograph is worth at least double that. Expect to see dozens of signed copies showing up Sunday morning on eBay.

I'd advise you to arrive early and possibly set up a tent on Friday night, as Sports Pickle groupies (also known as "Pickleheads") will undoubtedly invade the suburban mall. So come out, share your dislike of Ray Lewis with his #1 antagonist, and pick up a shirt at Abercrombie and Fitch for the ride home.
