The BCS of Blogs

While surfing the net today, I came across an interesting site via Deadspin called "Ballhype Blog Rankings". It's kind of like the BCS for blogs, only instead of ranking you for multi-million dollar bowl games, you get only the peace of mind that a lot of people like your stuff. And that's enough for me.

How does it work, you ask? In their words:

Ever curious, I clicked on the rankings to see where I fell, and I'm proud to report that Mondesi's House is currently #30 of the 1,929 they track. Predictably, Deadspin, the Florida/USC/Texas-rolled-into-one of blogs, leads off at #1, followed by The Big Lead, The Hardball Times, DC Sports Bog, and With Leather.

It's been an exciting time around here, with May being the all-time record for page views (123,574) and the upcoming first anniversary of the site at month's end. That being said, none of this would be possible without your constant tips, feedback, and email. There's noooo doubt about it, this blog belongs to Pittsburgh, and those Pittsburghers spread out all over the world. I truly thank you for your readership and your continued support of the site!
