It's not quite as hip as Black and Yellow, but the Pittsburgh Steelers' players gave their best (and corniest) to a series of Christmas carols now available for viewing on the team's website.
I particularly enjoyed Rashard Mendenhall doing his interpretation of the robot-dancing guy from Chappelle's Show, and the linebackers' bizarre performance of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" at the 2-minute mark. It's not as good as Big Ben singing "Neutered Balls" in 2008, but it's somewhat entertaining.
Regardless, as far as off-the-field videos go, I'll still go for the Pens' 24/7 show over another eight minutes of this anytime. And to answer your next question, yes, this goes on for eight minutes.

Hey this video was funny and all, but does Mondesis House still cover the Penguins actual play on the ice?
ReplyDeleteI hear that Crosby kid has been up to some stuff... and I think there are some big games coming up against Washington? Not sure if that's Washington state... or maybe Washington PA.
haha, good point Koz. I guess we all have to hit up Pensblog to see what Sid the Kid is up to these days?
ReplyDeleteLove the Rashard homage to Chappelle's Show though!!
Sorry, i just couldn't make it through 8:20 of that. I saw Harrison not singing (what a standup guy!) and a little bit of the next song before i couldn't take anymore.
