EA Sports Simulation Says WVU Will Win the Backyard Brawl

Bad news, Panther fans...EA Sports simulated the Backyard Brawl via NCAA Football '11 and WVU won, 26-14. Unfortunately, even the computerized version of the Panthers chokes in big games.

So who does everyone like on Friday, in the non-computerized version? Do the 'Eers win one for embattled Bill Stewart or does Pitt win one for the slightly less embattled Wannstache?

How did WVU end up with 26? They must've gone for 2 after each TD.

Looks like the EA Simulator was too generous to Pitt. Great showing again "Big Game" Wannstadt!

Will the EA Simulator be firing Wannstache after their next game? Regardless of the outcome?

I am not a Pitt, PSU or WVU fan. I am a football fan and this guy's resume of failures in big games is almost unmatched. He was bad as a pro coach and has continued it with Pitt.

Bring in Al Golden or someone from a smaller program. Who cares if they see it a s a stepping stone. Big East football is awful. Connecticut? You have got to be kidding me.

The news keeps getting worse for the Panthers as TCU is now reportedly heading to the Big East!!! Though, Texas is, in no way, considered by anyone as 'eastern'.

Penn State is going to beat Michigan State, so I wouldn't worry about that.

hiding from that comment I have been saving since saturday!

Hahaha, nice pull Burress! I remember that comment since it was in reference to my skepticism.

I stand by my statement that PSU lost to ALL of their non-cupcakes. However, PSU is going to be REAL REAL tough next year! (Geez, i sound like a pirates fan already dreaming of 'next' season... oh wait, i am a pirate fan, maybe that's why it's spilling over into NCAAF :-/)

Mark Madden on Pitt...

"But really, it's all excuse-making. Sunseri's rookie mistakes, Greg Romeus' injuries, Jon Baldwin's inconsistency, Dion Lewis' sophomore jinx...the fact is, Pitt just isn't a very good football program. Everything bad is fruit of that tree."

I'd rather be PSU and lose to a respectable BigTen foe, than get taken to the woodshed by my rival on home turf.
