SANTONIO SAYS TWITTER ACCOUNT WAS HACKED

Remember those "tweets" recently when Santonio Holmes told a person to kill themselves, among other nonsensical ramblings? Turns out it wasn't him at all, just a Twitter hijacker...or at least that's what Santonio will have you believe
"It wasn't me," Holmes said, per Manish Mehta of the Newark Star-Ledger. "I never tried to defend myself on that topic among anyone on Twitter or among anyone that tried to ask me for interviews. . . . I would definitely be accountable for my actions if I did say it."
Given that Santonio has a verified Twitter account and the message was not immediately erased, I'm rather skeptical of this excuse. Plus there's the little detail of other  bad-taste tweets still being up for viewing, including Holmes telling a fan "u don't cut my check."

Call me cynical, but something about this excuse leads me to assume that the dog probably ate Santonio's homework a lot when he was a kid, too. He's your problem now, Rex Ryan.

If the alleged fake tweets had remotely resembled the English language, then Santonio would have a valid defense.

I don't know about you, but I could care less what some Jet is writing on their Twitter account...

It sure took a while to deny these tweets. It's not like Santonio wasn't aware of them until now. The fact that he didn't flat out deny them that day tells me that his denial is coached.

Peace out 'tone, enjoy your 4 weeks of vacation this september.
