I guess we can shelve the Jamie Dixon-to-school X rumors for another year, because he just agreed to a contract extension at Pitt, to be made official at 3:30 p.m. today.
Dixon, who was signed through the 2015-16 season, was making $1.5 annually, so expect that number to get some kind of bump. I'll have more info on the deal as it becomes available.
UPDATE: It's a two-year deal taking Dixon through 2017-18. Dixon will be talking with Seibel and Starkey on 93.7 The Fan at 4:20 about the contract.
