Adding fuel to the fire that he may be the successor-in-waiting to Dick LeBeau, Steeler LB coach Keith Butler turned down the Miami Dolphins' offer to become their defensive coordinator, reports the PG's Gerry Dulac.
Butler, who's been with the Steelers since 2003, spent two seasons with Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano in Cleveland in 1999 and 2000. Under forgettable head coach Chris Palmer, those "re-boot" Browns teams were 2-14 and 3-13, respectively.
The Dolphins have a vacancy after firing coordinator Paul Pasqualoni following the 2009 campaign. They ranked 22nd overall, 24th against the pass and 18th against the run, and when Bill Parcells is running the show, those numbers are not going to fly.

Great blog you have here. I like reading sports blogs. You get more from them than the regular news. I can't take regular news anymore.
I have a couple of sports blogs myself. I know you probably haven't come across it because theres definitely over a million of us out there. I'd like to exchange links with you to help spread some traffic around between each other. Let me know if this is possible. Both my links are below my name. Until then, keep up the good work.
