STEELERS SIGN KEYARON FOX

Byron Leftwich and Charlie Batch may still be sitting on the free agent sidelines, but the Steelers did reach terms with another one of their UFAs, signing LB Keyaron Fox to a two-year, $1.8 million dollar deal.

Fox came into the league as a third-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2004. He signed with the Steelers as a free agent in March of 2008 and had 17 tackles in 13 games in 2008. Fox was a valuable part of the special teams unit and provides nice depth at the linebacker position.

In other Steeler news, more potential draftees are coming to town for visits with the team. Center Alex Mack of California, defensive tackle Fili Moala of Southern Cal and guard Herman Johnson of LSU will spend time with the Steelers today. The team also hosted UNLV fullback Frank Summers on Friday.
