PITTSBURGH HAS NO INTEREST IN YOUR RED RIVER SHOOTOUT

Texas QB Colt McCoy - no relation to Shady

Hoping to watch the huge Texas-Oklahoma game on WTAE this afternoon, Pittsburgh? Me too. Unfortunately, the game is not being broadcast in our city in lieu of the highly anticipated Rutgers-Cincinnati tilt. That's OK, the game's being broadcast on ESPN360.com. I love watching sports on a laptop. Let me go try and watch it there. What's that? My internet provider doesn't offer ESPN360.com? Fantastic. What next, there's no Pitt game this week, either?

It's just Comcast who's screwing people around here. Verizon and Consolidated (formerly North Pittsburgh Telephone Company) offer ESPN360.

NPTCo didn't offer it, but I just tried it on a whim, and now I'm watching Johnson run it in from the 2 to make it 44-35 Texas. About damn time a telecom merger/acquisition worked in my favor.

You can watch Carnegie Mellon vs. Allegheny College on FSN at 3:30!

Go Gators!

Oh, and to make matters worse, when the ND-UNC game came along at 3:30, they didn't show it.

No, why would we do a silly thing like that? We'd rather show a simulcast of ESPNEWS! Because that makes the most sense!

On the bright side Penn State kicked Wisconsin's ass. You all like PSU around here, right??
