UPDATED - WHAT HAPPENED AT PENN STATE?

Mysterious news out of Happy Valley, where Penn State police investigated "an incident" at the apartment of defensive end Maurice Evans, cornerback A.J. Wallace and defensive tackle Abe Koroma for more than two hours last night:
At least four Penn State Police vehicles were at the scene -- a Special Response Unit, two cruisers and an SUV.
State College Police said Tuesday night they did not know anything about the incident.
Various people milled about the scene around 11 p.m., though the crowd had thinned to about five or six by 1 a.m. this morning.
Many people outside declined comment.
So far, no one's talking. There's some speculation on various college football message boards, but nothing has been confirmed. Whatever happened, I doubt that it's good news for a Penn State football program that's already faced intense scrutiny this year.

I could go either way on this one. There's a part of me that thinks they had some serious amounts of something, but there's also the part of me that thinks that this might not be anything more than your run of the mill, student-housing noise violation. Either way, how dumb of them to be the first to get in trouble in light of the Outside the Lines special.

i agree however, is it necessary to have a special response unit, two cruisers and an SUV for noise?

Maybe the contents of the little plastic bag is the reason why everyone is so happy in the valley.
