It's not too often that the Pittsburgh suburb of Belle Vernon gets mentioned on this site, but this was just too good to pass up.
It appears that someone "donated" four grenades to the Belle Vernon Goodwill store, as they were found on Tuesday and immediately removed by the Allegheny County Bomb Squad. Store manager Dawn Graham said that the grenades may have been in the store for days before they were noticed.
So who lives in Belle Vernon with access to military-surplus grenades? And better yet, why would they donate them?
