The News

--The Penguins took no breaks to sit around and watch March Madness. In fact, they're currently sitting at 89 points, just one behind New Jersey for the Eastern Conference lead, after Sunday's glorious 7-1 disassembling of the Flyers. Hal Gill, Pascal Dupuis, and Marian Hossa combined for seven points, making Ray Shero look rather intelligent in the process.
--Ian Snell gets paid, to the tune of up to $24 million over five years. Living up to ever cliche ever uttered by an athlete after signing a multi-million dollar deal,"It's not about the money," Snell said.
--Any of you watch King Pryor and the Jeannette Jayhawks win the state title on Saturday? That was undoubtedly the best basketball ever seen in the Bryce Jordan Center.

--There's an interesting NIT matchup with local ties: Robert Morris is going to face Syracuse in the first round. Tipoff is 8 PM Tuesday at the Carrier Dome. Jim Boeheim will try to abstain from getting T'd up.

--The $102 million man is still doing his civic duties and playing on the Steeler basketball team. He suited up for recent games at Valley High and Riverside High, playing the entire games, throwing down dunks, and signing autographs.
