Seahawks Fans Still Can't Let Go

Don't believe me? Then check out this recent eBay listing. Sad, but pretty funny and well written at the same time.

Oh, those 7-9 1991 Seattle Seachickens who finished in 4th place in the AFC West...

I can still see a young Dan McGwire getting his first NFL action.

I couldn't bring myself to read this guy's ridicuolous, rambling item description, but I did notice the following:

1. He "paid a pretty penny" for a Dave Kreig autographed ball in 1991, which begs the question - why???

2. That ball looks like the ugly plastic ball you would buy at Hills for $2,59.

3. This guy thinks Dave Kreig belongs in the Hall of Fame, thereby discrediting any future comments.

4. He thinks his ball will pull $64+ on eBay. Yes, he has 3 bids, but nothing's sold until you're paid, and there's no way a sane person pays more than five American dollar for this piece of garbage.

Thanks for the great post, Mondesi. Stay off the 'roids.

Probably a Rams fan who was stuck with some piece of crap memorabilia item (woohoo, a Dave Krieg autographed toy football) and make $71 selling it to some bitter Seahawks fan.

haha, great read. I wish I was into ebay, I'd buy the ball and have my son, who was born after Super Bowl XL burn this ball.

Thanks again.

This guy has missed his calling. He should be writing the next Harry Potter book!

Kreig belongs in the Hall only if fumbling becomes a coveted statistic. I believe that he holds the record for most fumbles by an individual player over a career.
