The Steelers went defense again in round two, selecting defensive end Lamarr "Wood" Woodley out of Michigan. It was easy to miss the pick after Keyshawn Johnson gushed over his Panthers drafting fellow USC alum Dwayne Jarrett just one pick ahead of the Steelers, but eventually Kiper and friends got around to talking about Woodley.
Here's what we know about Wood:
--Won the Lombardi Award as the best lineman--offensive or defensive--in the country last year
--14 sacks his senior season
--2006 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and Lineman of the Year
--Coming out of high school he was rated the #14 player in the country by Rivals
--Also recruited by Florida, Michigan State, and USC, among others
--Majored in "General Studies"
--Bench pressed 325 pounds and measured a vertical leap of 29 inches
--Teamed with Lions wide receiver/colossal failure Charles Rogers and Golden State Warriors point guard Anthony Roberson at Saginaw High School in 2000 to win Michigan's Division II state championship in football.
--Probably hates Ohio State
--To the best of my knowledge, he is not related to former Steeler David Woodley

Did the steelers trade up to get that TE?
Woodley is BY FAR my favorite pick of the three we got so far.
Timmons is ok, but not really what I wanted.
Spaeth was one of those "What in the fuck are we thinking?" picks.
