Checking my email has become an interesting task these days. I usually get lots of support, with selected hate sprinkled throughout. So goes the life of a blogger. But I was pleasantly surprised by an email I recently received from Jeffrey Scherer. Jeffrey is a web graphic designer, children's book illustrator, and Pirates fan since 1971. He decided on his own to animate the existing Mondesi's House logo, which he attached to the email. I really enjoyed his work and you can now see the NEW Mondesi's House animated logo at the top of the homepage.

I've got Gerry Dulac sitting behind me at the 84 Lumber Classic here in the media room. I could suggest it to him, but even if he likes it, he may take credit for it, or say that the PP-G may not allow for it.
Though the black and gold theme in addition to the dookie in the closet makes it too perfect.

Anyway, I should have realized Dulac would already be on top of "The Dump Truck" and "#2 back" (if Verron Haynes drops in the depth chart). Yes, I sorta broached the topic. But didn't have the cajones to ask if he was going to ever incorporate the nickname into his writing...
