But Morton is still in the starting rotation with a 1-7 record and a 9.68 ERA because he was the guy we acquired for a "cornerstone" of our franchise who we had just been told was going to be here long term but was shipped off 2 months later.<br /><br />I understand McLouth has underperformed, but the message sent with that trade is where is my gripe lies.
